Russian soldiers are detained after they rejected to fight against Ukraine – Danylyuk

The military police of the Russian Federation Armed Forces arrest Russian soldiers due to their refusal to participate in the military actions in Ukraine.

This was stated with the reference to Ukrainian intelligence by the Head of the Centre for Defence Reforms, the coordinator of the interdepartmental platform on hybrid threat countermeasures, which operates within Ukraine-NATO cooperation, Mr. Oleksandr V. Danylyuk in his Facebook.

‘According to Ukrainian intelligence service, four soldiers of the 76th air assault division (Pskov) were detained by the military police officers of the RF Armed Forces after the officers of the specified division including the deputy commander refused to follow the criminal orders regarding military actions in Ukraine’ – Danylyuk commented.

Earlier, Guildhall stated that the verified source handed over various photographs of the reports written by Russian soldiers, who participated in the military actions at the Ukrainian territory and returned to their places of deployment. Those who survived the war in Ukraine massively file reports refusing to go back to the area of combat operations.

Guildhall received the reports written by the soldiers of the 41 A of the Central Military District of the Russian Federation Armed Forces that arrived in Ukraine in full force. Among the reasons of refusal soldiers specified the unwillingness to be used as ‘cannon fodder’, failure to comment on the reasons for the military operation in Ukraine, lack of technical supplies as well as little communication with the military command and many others.
